Now that Trivia Murder Party 3 is out in Early Access, we wanted to speak to the man, the legend, the host of the Trivia Murder Party Franchise, [REDACTED] himself, about how he felt now that the game is out in the world and what he’s doing to keep the game going. <3

What have you been working on lately?

Oh, a little of this, a little of that. Someone’s got to add more splinters to the dock by the lake! And then add more splinters to tonight’s sloppy joe meat! Also, my new game, Trivia Murder Party 3, is out now in Early Access.

Now that the game is out in the world in Early Access, what are you most excited to see?

The usual: unreturned shopping carts in busy parking lots, crowded emergency rooms, a beautiful Cybertruck parked right in the middle of a bike lane. But in the game, I’m most excited to see people get obliterated by a giant chainsaw.

What have you been surprised by as more people have played your game?

How little people know about Cher. I cannot “Believe” it.

What’s it been like to open your own summer camp? Was this a long-time dream or a spur-of-the-moment project?

It’s been a dream, specifically a nightmare, of mine ever since I watched a serial killer terrorize my summer camp as a kid. The fact that I’m running my own operation now feels surreal. It’s been a lot of fun but it has come with some pain points, like trying to find a bank that will give me a loan for a summer camp trivia show where contestants die. 

How hard has the transition been from haunted hotel to slasher summer camp?

Really hard, thanks for asking! I’m spending so much less time doing laundry, although I’ve got to find a way to stop these campers from giving me lice before I impale them. Don’t share hats, kids!

Any favorite camping memories from your own childhood?

I have so many wonderful memories from Camp Paine! Fishing on the lake and seeing a counselor get gutted on the dock. Staying up late and joking around with my bunkmates while a counselor directly outside was getting cut in half with a machete. Winning a three-legged race with my teammate: a severed limb that belonged to a counselor. I could go on but I’ll stop before I get too cornball on ya! 

What’s the secret to making a great trivia game?

Probably kidnapping a crack team of writers, artists, engineers, and producers and telling them that making a trivia game is the only way they’ll ever be allowed to see the sun again. I give them coffee in a big trough!
