Staff Spotlight : Senior Creative Producer, Alosha Robinson

Alosha works as our Senior Creative Producer. That means he’s busy making game trailers, brainstorming silly video ideas, and indulging my pitch to make an ad where the people playing our games’ faces get progressively and subtly smaller as they play with no acknowledgement that it’s happening (this video WILL happen…. one day!).

We recently spoke to Alosha about some of his favorite Jackbox memories and how he likes to spend his time after work. He is a certified Silly Goose while also being an incredible asset to our team. Talk about personality and technical hire!!

How long have you worked at Jackbox Games?

I freelanced for Jackbox intermittently since 2023. Unfortunately, that was so fun that I had no choice but to come on fulltime last summer.

Do you have a favorite Jackbox memory?

Mine is from before I worked here! During COVID, I was on a discord server populated by ~25 friends and friends-of-friends across the country. We played Jackbox together multiple times a week, and it was a great way to feel community at an isolated time.

Once restrictions were lifted, a bunch of us from the server met up IRL in Miami to have an unhinged “World Tour” weekend together. Without Jackbox to bring us closer, this treasured life memory would have never happened. I can’t prove that, but I’m allowed to write whatever I want here.

What’s your favorite Jackbox game?

Champ’d Up makes me and the homies laugh our butts off every time. I love Hector’s beautiful art direction, and the bright neon colors you’re forced to draw with. When I was a child I’d literally be making two drawings, cutting them out, and making them do a big fight against each other. So this game makes me feel amazing.

What are you currently working on?

I am blessed to work on three different videos simultaneously for the rest of my life. I hope you enjoy all of them. We’re doing an interesting live action shoot this spring, for a big, hot unannounced announcement.

Do you know any secrets about the Jackbox head?

Yes. His box is made out of bone, flesh and blood, but his head is made out of brown corrugated cardboard. That’s not true.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

Every couple months I make a new weird, low-budget surreal comedy film with my best friends. Our little group is called Funny Lifestyle, and we think it’s so fun. I also love to watch cool movies and play interesting video games with my loved one, Rachael.

If you could play Jackbox with anyone dead or alive, who would you choose?

I would play with my Discord server I mentioned earlier. FRITANGA for life.
